I have lived in Pembroke for twenty-seven years with my wife and now adult children. Originally from Quincy, my family and I sought the suburban environment that Pembroke offered.

I have worked in the construction industry my whole career, first in the field as a glazier and now in construction management. Along the way I attended school at night and received my degree in Construction Management and also was an instructor for my union, the Glaziers and Glassworkers #1044, of which I am a forty-year-old member.

After getting to know a few folks around town, I was encouraged to run for the Planning Board. The thought being that my construction background and my concern for Pembroke would make me a good fit for that Board. I served on the Planning Board for seven years and have been Pembroke’s Delegate to the regional Old Colony Planning Council. I decided to run for a seat on the Board of Selectmen to further serve the Town. I have been a Selectman since 2008 and have taken a leadership role in implementing positive changes during my tenure. A few of the large and small influences that I have been a part of are bringing curbside recycling to town, advocating for the traffic light to be constructed at Rt 53 and Pleasant Street, introducing the Municipal Aggregation program to Town Meeting, saving residents on their electricity bill and implementing the study committee which brought forth the Town Manager for of government to Pembroke.

I wish to continue serving Pembroke and respectfully ask that the voters consider allowing me to do so.

I was born and raised in Cape May, New Jersey.  I was fortunate enough to go to college and receive a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Heidelberg University in Tiffin, OH.

I was able to obtain employment for my hometown Congressman Frank LoBiondo (NJ-2) in Washington, DC where I was able to do all kinds of jobs from front desk duties, giving tours of the US Capitol, Systems Admin, Executive Assistant, Office Emergency Coordinator, and at times being able to dabble in legislation.

After leaving the Congressman’s office I was employed by the RNC’s studio (GOP-TV) where we would do live shots to local and national news networks, and tapings for congressional members to use at a later time.  I was also a participant in 2008 & 2012 National Conventions.

For a time after I left the RNC I was a media consultant using my skills to help out candidates for office know how to present themselves on air media and print.

When I moved to Pembroke, while still being a media consultant, I jumped right in to see what I could do in the town of Pembroke.   I was an Advisory member for 3 years learning about the town’s finances.  In 2018 I was elected to my first term as a Selectboard member.

Right now, besides being a current Selectboard member my partners and I have started a new venture of Hodge Podge Alley Cuisine LLC, where we sell assorted flavored Fudge, Tomato Relishes, Hot Sauces, and our new Wing Sauce of varying flavors.

In recent years, I have seen an ever increasing need to have a citizen’s voice on the Board of Selectman. As a third-generation resident, I am very passionate about this town. I feel a deep sense of responsibility to this community and pledge to be a strong advocate for the taxpayers. I have watched this ‘sleepy little town’ grow into a large robust community over my 57 years here. As our town grows, so do the challenges it presents. I intend to bring an open mind to the issues that will confront this town in the future and do so with honesty and integrity.

I graduated from Silver Lake High (Pembroke Campus) in 1985 then attended Becker College where I earned my degree in paralegal studies. I worked in a fast-paced environment at a real estate law firm for 7 years before becoming a realtor in 1994. I am a recipient of numerous listing and sales awards over my 30-year career in real estate. I currently work at Success Real Estate in Marshfield and reside in Pembroke with my husband in the house I grew up in which we purchased in 1991 from my parents before starting our own family.

I am a former Selectman, a former Housing Authority Commissioner and have served on numerous committees, campaigns, groups, and volunteer positions. In fact, my community involvement dates to my childhood. My colleagues call me a “polite pitbull” (I think this is a compliment?) I speak my mind, ask questions, and demand answers.

While away from work, I enjoy running, reading, and spending time with family and friends. One fun fact about me is that I ran the Boston Marathon in 2005.

I’m a proud parent of 3 PHS graduates, and I have a daughter in 10th grade.  A strong education is very important to me, and I’ve seen the impact firsthand.  A proud Pembroke native, I’ve been serving on the School Committee for 3 years.

Pembroke will be facing state funding cuts over the next couple of years.  With my budgetary experience and leadership, we will continue to navigate gaps in the budget with minimal impact to our students and staff.  I’m committed to continuing the work to keep our education system strong, thereby attracting families to our community and strengthening our economy.

I have 2 kids, ages 4 and 1, so I will be involved with Pembroke Schools for a long time and I want to make sure that our school system stays healthy. The schools are facing many challenges right now including major budget constraints, needed long term planning for facilities/equipment, and lack of vo tech options for students. With my financial and school committee experience, I think I’m the best person to help develop creative solutions while operating within DESE constraints.

My philosophy in doing this work is simple and unwavering. We are here for all kids, parents, and the taxpayer. We must put the classroom first and make economic and policy decisions that protect the classroom. This foundational principal has consistently ensured a strong educational, extracurricular, and fiscally sound program that fulfilled the mission of educating kids while providing a safe and protective environment for our kids to learn citizenship. Kids First, Parents Over Politicians.

I am a product of Pembroke Public Schools. I went on to be a Teacher and School Administrator. Now, I support youth with disabilities by working with school systems and families on the South Shore. I returned to Pembroke to raise my daughter in a town I know and love. I am running for School Committee to give back to my hometown and help our community navigate the tough times ahead. Did you know I would be the first School Committee member with direct experience as a teacher and administrator?

Jennifer Paige Graziano

I am a mom of 4 with varied educational experiences including Silver Lake Vocational, Pembroke High School, Dual Enrollment and Homeschooling. I am a business owner and have been a Pembroke resident and Veterinarian here for 23 years. I have hosted many exchange students, led a very active 4H club, and was active with scouts when my son was younger. I will be an independent and thoughtful voice on this committee and promise to listen carefully and respectfully. I believe that I bring a unique perspective to the table.

I am a proud mom of two school aged children and a dedicated volunteer to many town programs. I have two decades of experience in operational leadership identifying financial impacts and savings prospects. I am running for school committee because I am a passionate supporter of our youth. I will advocate for pathways for all kids including VoTech, special ed, and accelerated programs. I will put the needs of our students, teachers, and town first, and be a voice of reason at this essential time.
