Jim Hannon is President of Hannon-Ryan Insurance.
Mr Hannon majored in Insurance and Real Estate at Pace College in New York. He and his wife Carol moved to Pembroke in 1963. In 1968 Mr. Hannon formed what is today Hannon-Ryan Insurance which has been located in Pembroke Center for the 40 years. Mr. Hannon holds a designation as a Certified Insurance Counselor. Hannon-Ryan Insurance has offices in Pembroke, Plymouth and Osterville employing 15 people.
In addition to running his buiness, Mr. Hannon has servered the Town of Pembroke as a Selectman, a Planning Board member and also a member of the Housing Authority. He currently serves as Chairman of the North River Commission which is responsible for administrating the Massachusetts Protective Order designed to maintain and protect the river.
In past years, Mr. Hannon has served as President of the Pembroke Lions Club, President of the Pembroke Arts Festival and President of the Pembroke Historical Society.
