KFNE is the charitable foundation for the New England District of Kiwanis. It supports the Kiwanis Pediatric Trauma Institute (KPTI) at the New England Medical Center, the “Hap Gerrish” Pediatric Trauma Registry and other worthwhile causes everywhere.

With the belief that everyone, regardless of ability, deserves a chance to go to the “Prom”, the Prom Angels Foundation will bring our own uniquely tailored Prom to communities across the nation. Having a time tested program, a strong and vibrant network of dedicated staff and local volunteers, and with the financial support of local business leaders, PAF will provide the expertise, training, guidance and leadership to re-create our Prom, with local flavor, in every community. At this time, the plan is to expand the prom nationally within 5 years. As we expand the locations, we will expand our “army of angels”. These volunteers, living in the local communities, will promote the PAF mission, recruit new “angels” and fundraise on a year round basis. Our “army of angels” and their contacts in the community are our most valuable resource. Society needs organizations like the Prom Angels Foundation, the “special needs” community needs organizations like PAF and every person, regardless of ability, deserves a chance to go to the “Prom”.

As a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, the Prom Angels Foundation, Inc. mission is to provide safe, fun and socially empowering activities for people with special needs. Events including sporting activities, holiday parties and the “Special Needs Prom” define both our purpose and focus, and are supported by a network of committed staff, volunteers and the local business communities.
